Why do major companies are more than willing to spend million of dollars to advertise their products on TV during the Super Bowl? One reason may be is the only time when they can sell their products. It cost $30 million per 30-seconds to advertise on the air during this event. Dispite the cost, I heard that there are many other companies who want to advertise their products, but they are out of luck because there is no more space available. Is it worth for the companies to spend $30 million? Find out by reading the article.

Well, super bowl is The Event in the U.S. Have you heard how much companies are spending in the Olympic 2008?
BusinessWeek said that it takes the equivalent work hours of 46-48 hours to get the $600 to $900 Superbowl Tickets based on a minimum wage. This is a huge increase from Superbowl Tickets from the 1960's, which were equivalent to around 3-4 work hours!
Personally I think that it is not worth it to spend that money on advertising during the super bowl because they replay those same commercials after they have appeared on the super bowl.
Plus now the commercials do not seem as original and funny as a few years ago. I can remember a time when the commercials were all people talked about and looked forward to. Now many of us just walk away to get another beer or something else when the commercials are on. So how many of the millions of people watching the Super bowl are actually influenced by the commercials?
