As technology grows faster and faster, older generations are beginning to become more technologically savvy. I say this is great! The less I have to hold my moms hand through sending a picture text message the better. Although, the article I found in the North County Times outlines a different opinion. Here younger generations are feeling uncomfortable that their parents ask to be added to there network of friends, and inturn their parents friends become the kids friends as well. As uncomfortable as it may be, I think it is important for older generations to become more comfortable with technology. At some point a younger generation will take over the world (seriously) and the transition will be much easier if everyone is speaking the same language. Especially with the dangers that young children can encounter on the internet, it is important for adults to understand what their kids are up to (if you have seen msnbc investigates you know what i'm talking about).
