Parents Crashing Online Party

http://www.cnn.com/2008/TECH/ptech/01/23/technological.turfwar.ap/index.html

The article talks about older adults are beginning to be more technologyically savy. An example is how blogging sites, such as My Space and Facebook, are no longer just for young people. Sites such as these are beginning to be over run by adults, which are making younger adults uncomfortable because their parents may know more about them then they would want them to know. Some younger people that were questioned commented on how weird it was when some that they knew, someone of an older age, asked them to be a buddy or a friend. Also, as a result of all the adults and parents that are now on these websites, the younger crowd is now beginning to be more careful about the stuff they post online, that is open for everyone to see. As always, the younger crowd likes to stay ahead and this case is no different. The trend that is currently occuring is to join Twitter.com. This website allows blogging also. What makes it different is that you can blog from your mobile phone and also downloads and posts television programs. There is no doubt that this trend of brand new websites will continue because this is type of business is a money maker.
