The Kindle Book is basically a device that you can buy a book on, for a small price, and have it sent to you in less than 1 minute. No cables, no syncing, no computers. It doesn't use Wifi, but the high-speed data network (EVDO) like advanced cell phones—so you never have to locate a hotspot. This could be the new thing for students. Think of having all of your textbooks on this thing, and not carrying them all around. You can also email word documents and pictures to it to read on the go. It is pretty sweet.
