I thought this article was interesting considering the current scandal going on with Eliot Spitzer and his engagement with a prostitute "Very Nice!" (Borat voice). Turns out being governer doesnt require a competency level seeing that he was paying the prostitute with three major wire transfers, that were easily linked back to him. Banks are constantly on the lookout for activity that seems to be an effort to break up large, clearly suspicious transactions into smaller ones that might fly under the radar, a practice called structuring. The same exists in Spitzer's case. Banks tend to go over the smallest of transactions to insure security among customers. Trying to get by the system will not work and you will eventually be caught. Another lesson, pay with cash!
