Size of the TV

This article is about the latest TV that is out. I can not believe the size of this TV, and who is really going to get one for the home? Check it out and see if this is what you want in your home.

Yes this is cool and I want one.

The article fails to mention that only 10 of last years 103" version have been sold. Most of which to business/hotels for promotions. This is a prof of concept, ie something that is possible and marketing ploy.

Not meant for the main stream. I love seeing this cause it will cause the trickle down effect into the mass market. The improving of technology and lowering of prices in the future.

Just remember that the best viewing distance is 2 to 2.5 times the diagonal distance (150") from the tv. This comes out to be 25 feet.

How many people have a room that is this large and are sitting 25 feet back?

I think it will fit in my $400,000, 2 bed room, 1000 sq feet, condo! Which only has one parking space.

Gosh I love San Diego!

I have to say that this is one of the coolest things I have ever seen.

I can't however say I would find it practical to have in my small one-bedroom apartment. I think the main commercial application is more for retailers, sports bars and other buisnesses, not for personal use. The TV is also more for testing technology I think. Soon we could be watching movies on a plasma screen instead of a projection. The picture would be so much brighter and crisper. I would definetly go see an action movie on a two story plasma TV.
