Taking a two dimensional picture into a 3-D scene

Although there has already been a product that can turn two dimensional pictures into 3-D scences, a new better product has come out. The article explains that it takes algorithms for computer to be able to read the differences in color, texture and form to come up with a 3-D scene.

I actually didn't know this existed but I found it interesting that computers can learn the difference between textures and colors and create a more indepth picture.
