The world's first phone to feature Intel's Centrino Atom microprocessor is Willcom's "D4" smart phone. Willcom is a handy phone firm located in Japan. Willcom hopes to capture 50,000 to 100,000 new users a year with their D4. This phone will run Microsoft Corp's Windows Vista operating system and feature a touchpad made by Sharp Corp. It has a 5'' screen with a high resolution (1024 x 600). Willcom wants to target students and corporate users with their high end, PC-like phones. The phone is set to be out in the market by mid-June and it will be a pricey one. The phone's retail price will be $1,272.
