AMD will have "business class" versions of Athlon processors for commercial markets. The goal is to have PC manufacturers maintain AMD's business class systems for 24 months to ensure longevity of supply. Longevity of supply is important because some PC lifecycles shorten the time to deploy the desktop. AMD increased the warranty from one year to three years on its business class systems.
