Police stations across the United States are now following the UK in implementing license plate readers into their squad cars. Right now, over 400 of the 1800 US agencies have them, and more are soon to follow.
This is a great new advancement in law enforcement. It offers officers to have a much easier time identifying stolen cars, etc.
