Prices have been steadily rising on the price of all foods recently and this is due to a few different factors. One of course is mother Nature which we cant do to much about but there is also a new debate rising based on bio fuel and its effect on world hunger. We cant be solely responsible for the rising prices of all the different foods out there but an upcoming problem could be the effect government subsidies have on the price of corn and everything it affects as feeder to and such. Recently corn has gone up from 6% of the total crop being used for this new fuel to about 25% now and rising. This could have a huge impact on the price of food for everyone but of course america wont go hungry, just the other 3rd world countries that already have a shortage and will now have even less.

As ethanol production increases that means less feed for cows, which means less dairy production, causing all prices to go up.
We are definitely starting to see the increase of these costs.
