This article talks about a breakthrough that scientists have been trying to master for years. Spider silk, for it's size, multiple times stronger and lighter, yet much more pliable than our strongest metals today, so scientists have been trying to find ways to create similar fibers to use everywhere from optical cables to bulletproof vests.
