The New E-spionage Threat

http://www.businessweek.com/print/magazine/content/08_16/b4080032218430.htm

First we had issues with university security systems compromised and thus revealing the identity information of millions of students. Then we had the credit card leaks that occured at retail stores. Now we have more destructive methods for breaking into government computer systems all because the Pentagon doesn't want to send out an e-mail that admits security weaknesses in its computer systems??? Sounds like a bad information system in all the five components (especially the people component) to me...

The article is an extensive one but it does reveal the severity of the vulnerability in the government computer systems. This isn't hard to believe as last year a hacker was able to break into NASA to look for UFO information... What!??
