I have seen people use bots to automate tasks, make MMORPGs "easier to play", and simply annoy people through instant messaging programs. I am not really surprised with the widespread of zombie computers though... I expected this much 4 years ago, when the whole idea of taking over computers to help spread malicious content throughout the computers in the world.
Sucks that there are already 1 million hijacked computers... I wonder why these guys don't take any preventive measures like reformat their computers and so on...
