Qwest is offering a new fiber optic network to its residential and small-business users. The two packages they are offering is for 12mbps and 20mbps. This is pretty good news. It seems that more and more Internet service providers are offering faster and faster Internet speeds every year. Which makes sense considering that files sizes are getting bigger and more people are downloading files from the Internet which includes music and movies. Now we only need a redesigned Internet; one that can accommodate the growing number of users.
