Wii Fit is a game that was released in December and has already sold many copies in Japan. Wii fit is popular because of its electronic balance board that responds to a player’s movement and weight. This particular game stresses aerobics, strength training, and muscle toning exercises. Wii Fit uses the BMI (body mass index) to monitor player’s progress toward a healthier lifestyle. BMI is a standard measure of body fat. This game will also test you ability to balance the left and right sides of your body. To keep players interested and on track, Wii Fit has a list of 40 activities and games that are divided up into strength training, aerobics, balance games, and yoga. This system also acts like a personal trainer by offering feedback of both criticism and encouragement. The only thing that players might not be happy about Wii Fit is that it lacks the ability to record and track changes to your body overtime.
