Apple has been doing very well this year, despite the slow growth of iPod sales, which only had a 1 percent unit growth and 8 percent revenue growth. However, the Mac is what is getting all the rave. Mac sales has gone up by 51 percent compared to the same period last year. Revenues from Mac have increased by 54 percent. For some reason, Macs are becoming more popular nowadays compared to Windows. I think a lot of it has to do with the younger generation getting into Macs for its incredible multimedia features.

I think the main reason why Mac sales are jumping is because it is so user friendly for people to use.
Yes there is a price premium for the aesthetic look of the computer but with a lot less problems than a Windows PC.
