Scientists from the University of Florida have developed a new gadget that helps patients remember to take vital medication. When it is time for a person to take their pills the machine will beep until you swallow the pills and breathe into it. It detects the medication on your breath like a police breathalyzer detects alcohol on someone under the influence. If you do not take the medication the machine will continue to beep louder and louder. This invention could be very effective for elderly people who have to take medication daily.
