Mow your lawn...by phone

This new lawn mower is so cool. I found it very interesting when I was reading through some articles. Not that many of us out here in California have a lot of lawn to mow, but this new technology is very cool.

This is the LawnBott which runs for about $3,200. It can cut a lawn of about 38,000 square feet in about an hour, with a 14 inch cutting width and climb slopes of 30 degrees. After it is done cutting the lawn it returns to charge its Lithium-ion batteries. It also has a rain detector so it will send the mower back out when skies are clear.

The coolest thing about this mower though is that it runs off of bluetooth, and can program it to run off your PDA or cell phone. There is also an alarm that sounds if someone tries to steal it. Just another great example of the evolving bluetooth technologies. Also an environmental friendly product since it is electric.

Check it out!

That is way cool! Most of the time I have to mow the lawn and in the long run (if it lasts) I would totally pay that much. How does it know were to cut and were not to cut. It would be cool as long as it doesnt mow my cat or flowers. That would be interesting. Coming home to a bald cat. LOL
