Wii had an immense amount of success with the first week of sales of their Smash Bros game with sales of more than 1.4 million. Nintendo is ultimately facing sales drops in the preceeding weeks and when compared to X box 360 and Playstations the sales for a major release such as guitar hero III, they were trailing as much as 2.8 million behind the leader. (Sony's unmatched 5 million)
